Internet Customers
You can use our shopping cart to view our spices and related products, place your order, and make payment.
Our spice products can also be found at these stockists.
Processing and Shipping
We process and ship all internet and phone orders within 48 hours. Our products are shipped in secure cardboard boxes and handled by PBT Couriers. You should receive your order within 2-3 working days, but allow an extra day for rural delivery. Please note that we do not ship outside New Zealand as most countries have restrictions on the importation of certain spices.
Freight and Packaging Costs
- For orders up to $75, the cost is $6.50 (add $3 for rural delivery)
- For orders between $75 and $200, the cost is $9.50 (add $3 for rural delivery)
- For orders over $200, freight and packaging is free (no charge)
Product Guarantee
We take pride in sourcing high quality spices from our suppliers, and the packaging and presentation of our spice products is designed to reflect this quality. We guarantee the freshness, quality, and value of our spices. Our spice products do not contain any colourings, preservatives, additives, or other agents.
Refund or Replacement Policy
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your product, it will be replaced for you, exchanged for a product of the same value, or the total amount will be refunded, providing goods are returned within 14 days of receipt. Cost of return shipping shall be the responsibility of the customer.
Privacy Policy
The Spice Trader is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and using any information collected in a responsible manner. We collect details such as your first and last names, your delivery address, telephone number, and email address when you purchase our products. This information is used so we can contact you, let you know when your product has been despatched, and keep you informed of any new products or specials. This information is never sold, traded, or shared with any third party. We will immediately remove you from our database if requested.
Pricing and Payment Policy
All prices stated are in NZ dollars and are inclusive of GST (Goods and Service Tax).
Retailers and Wholesale Customers
We supply retailers such as delicatessens and gourmet food outlets with our packaged spices (as seen in the shopping cart area).
We supply restaurants, cafes, caterers, and bakeries with bulk spices.
